Although it is designed as a "Mountain Racing shoe" the F-Lite™ 230 also makes a fantastic Road Shoe for  those who like a minimal shoe and great feedback from the running surface.  It is more forgiving than it's lighter brother the 195 with the extra cushioning, and makes a very good 'transition' shoe for someone moving away from very cushioned shoes, or those who are tweaking their running form away from heel-striking.  The sticky outsole is surprisingly hard wearing, and gives excellent traction where most others would fail.  Great on those marginal winter evenings

If you are very wide of foot, you may find this shoe a little narrow!
