 INOV-8 road-x™ 233 "Light, responsive,
fast. Legendary performances are empowered by the natural running characteristics of this shoe. The 2 Arrow Shoc-Zone™
offers scintillating performance as a race day shoe for club runners, whilst also providing sufficient underfoot protection
for the elite to use regularly. The Dynamic Fascia Band™ is embedded in between the midsole and outsole for maximum
efficiency and power transfer with each stride. The narrower, Performance Fit means this shoe provides a great fit to both
men and women."
Using inov-8's 'anatomical' last, we finally have a road running shoe that is
foot-shaped, supremely comfortable and in super-fast red and white colours.
The anatomical last may
have an effect on the size that you choose compared to some of the other 'performance' lasted shoes in the range because
there is loads more space for your big toe! Ping us a message if you want to discuss it.

The 2011 Challenge
10 Fred Whittons in 10 days.
That's 1120 miles and 32,500m (20 vertical miles!) of ascent
The steepest sections are 1:3, and in all there
are 14 climbs to negotiate each day.
On Sunday 22nd of May 2011, at 14:45 Leon, Faster Feet's Running Coach
and general dogsbody, completed this challenge!!
It took him a total of 93 hours 21 minutes
and 21 seconds of cycling - which is an average of 9:20:06 for EACH completed loop. His fastest day was 8:43:49 and
he also successfully completed his own personal challenge of cycling up ALL of the Passes each day.
There is a
very detailed account of the challenge and daily reports on his blog, which you may be interested to read - and as of 19th July 2011 he has raised £3,539.78 for
Macmillan Cancer Support.
Here is a video of his final climb of Hardknott Pass
