About Us
The concept of Faster Feet came about as the result of a conversation about running uphill on the
fells, and comparing the hands-on-knees approach to that of taking lots-of-little-steps. Add that to a healthy love of decent
kit for using in the outdoors as well as a runner who was fascinated by the notion that running was skilled movement
that could be practised, refined and improved and that human beings were ideally suited
to running just the way they are, without the need for biomechanical crutches...
... and there was the recipe
for a small cottage industry business.
In this current climate of big business, with customer service becoming
a rapidly outdated concept, Faster Feet was conceived to redress the balance a little.
Concentrating on lightweight
kit for the outdoors, most of which we have used extensively ourselves, and marrying it to a fascination with the
concept of biomechanically efficient running on all terrains, we at Faster Feet are committed to entering into a dialogue
with our customers and doing what we can to provide them with the information and support they need to make the best decisions
about the products and services they choose.
It's perhaps a little old fashioned and out of
step with the mega-bucks business world.
But we like it that way.
And hopefully so will you!
